‘Sheelanagig‘

Their unique blend of Balkan Folk Mayhem has been a fixture on the festival circuit since they formed in 2005. Equally at home on festival stages, music venues and street corners the band have developed a devoted following with three album releases and a hectic touring schedule. ‘A massive hit on the festival scene who practically burst the marquee at the Trowbridge Festival this year’ Venue Magazine.
Sheelanagig are touring the UK throughout the summer in support of new album “Cirque Insomnia”, their fourth release and the first to feature original songs alongside the band’s trademark manic instrumentalism.

Egg hunt update
Last Saturday on a beautiful afternoon, this year’s ‘egg hunt’ proved to be the most popular so far with 80 children hunting and making Easter crafts. We also had some very popular stalls for the parents and lots of people enjoyed a cup of tea and a hot cross bun!
We were so well supported that unfortunately a few late-comers had to be disappointed as we had no more prizes.
We made almost £250 which will pay for the recent annual safety inspection of the children’s play area and will help towards the cost of the required repairs.
