Please note that the performance by Kimber’s Men will be starting at 2.30pm on Saturday 28th not 7.30 as apparently advertised in the Wiltshire Times!
This is our spring Rural Arts Touring event. Kimber’s Men are acclaimed by many to be the finest and funniest purveyors of sea shanties in Europe. With rich harmonies and a diverse range of sea songs their powerful voices make a compelling combination.
Probably the finest and funniest purveyors of sea shanties in Europe, this group never fails to entertain. Appearing at festivals all over the world and recently featured only last month for the second time on Channel 4TV – Sunday Brunch, Kimber’s Men have made 6 CDs and have generated a strong following. Expect to laugh, sing and be generally entertained.
Remember nothing beats hearing singers of this quality live.
Those with long memories might also remember seeing the band on BBC2 TV on Christmas Eve a couple of years back.
Ticket prices £7 adults, £6 concessions, £4.50 child. Please note 20% of ticket sales are donated back to hall funds. Telephone Pauline on 01225 765644 to book or contact us here:-
